After the boys suggest that bowling is a great way to get in shape, the girls decide to come along to the bowling alley and take up the game themselves.; Wanting to be fought over in an old-fashioned competition, Veronica offers a date to whichever boy wins an obstacle race. Reggie proves better than Archie at getting past the obstacles, but the biggest obstacle Archie faces is Betty with a sexy new outfit and hairdo.; When Archie sees Reggie with Veronica he astonishes everyone by playing it cool and not losing his temper. When no one's looking, though, he takes out his anger on inanimate objects.; The guys discuss the harrowing, risky experiences they had at the beach today. Only Reggie is unimpressed.; The girls chide the boys for lying around all day doing nothing, and insist on going to the beach.; Hap has just settled down to watch the prize fight on TV and is upset when Jinx wants to watch something else.
