As part of an initiation, the boys make Moose spend the night in the local haunted house and try to make him think the place is actually haunted. But when an actual ghost seems to appear in the house, Archie and Jughead go back to solve the mystery of who -- or what -- is behind these scary spooks.; Little Archie convinces the Good Ol' Gang to pose for a photo to enter in a "happy gang" contest. But when he has to go home to get film for the camera, the kids have to hold their pose, without moving, until he gets back.; When Veronica is transfered out of his class Archie is left in a daze.; Veronica is overly upset when her father loses $250,000 in his business, even though he is still worth four or five million dollars. She gets little sympathy from her friends, who send her a joke "care" package and show up at a party at her house dressed in rags. Veronica doesn't appreciate the humor, but her father thinks it's hilarious.; Archie's father doesn't think Archie spends enough time at home. Archie compromises and takes his father along with him for the day's activities. By the end of the day, Archie's father is glad to stay home.; When Betty dates Archie, Veronica loans her a brooch to wear. With Veronica's usual ulterior motive, the borrowed brooch transmits a radio signal so that Veronica can keep an eye on the pair. When a cape with the brooch blows out of Archie's jalopy and is grabbed by a playful hound, Veronica has to follow the signal through some less-than-desirable places.; Veronica thinks that Archie and Betty are engaged to be married so she decides to steal their thunder and get engaged to the first boy she sees, which turns out to be Jughead.; Veronica believes she heard a prowler and Archie and Reggie investigate.; The students hear Miss Grundy may have to undergo plastic surgery to repair a broken nose. Later when Miss Grundy's young niece visits the school, everyone assumes she's Miss Grundy post-surgery.; Veronica has Archie and Mr. Lodge's daily routine timed to the minute. When Betty tries to disrupt the routine, she gets treated just the same as Archie.; Veronica gives Archie an ascot. He makes the best of it by changing to a whole Hollywood-style wardrobe and being insufferably pretentious.; The gang has a pie fight.; After forgetting about his required entry in the school art exhibition, Jughead whips up an abstract painting in minutes. Reggie and Archie have great fun at the painting's expense, until someone at the exhibition offers Jughead seventy-five dollars for it.; Jughead gets suckered into babysitting a cherubic-looking terror.; Veronica is distraught because George, her tropical fish, is sick. Not knowing George is a fish, Archie vows to pummel the rival who caused Veronica to break their date.; The students find a stray dog but Mr. Weatherbee makes them leave it outside in the rain.; Reggie gets Jughead in trouble by hiding a rabbit in his desk. Mr. Weatherbee decides to make Reggie "game warden" of the high school to keep students from bringing pets to school and gives him a whistle. Jughead switches the whistle for an ultra-sonic dog whistle, so that when Reggie blows it, a pack of dogs invades the school.; Li'l Jinx can't make up her mind.; Daddy teaches Li'l Jinx how to win at flipping baseball cards.; Fred can't resist a door-to-door salesman.; Archie tries to teach Betty how to drive.; When Veronica expresses a desire for a bear skin rug for the mansion, Archie goes to Jughead to help him find one.; Veronica advises Midge and Betty to fill up a hope chest with the most important things. So Betty kidnaps Archie, ties him up and puts him in the chest.; Miss Grundy can't get her students to pay attention in class.
