While attempting to cut down some branches, Mr. Andrews gets stuck between two limbs of the tree.; Zeenox and his parents land on Earth to fix their spaceship. Meanwhile, Zeenox runs off and is taken by Little Archie and Betty to Veronica's Halloween party.; Archie and Mr. Andrews clean out the garage and take items to the landfill. On the way, they stop at a flea market where all of their items are sold.; An unseen narrator tells how the quote "With friends like these...who needs enemies?" applies to Archie's life.; Mr. Weatherbee installs cameras around the school to watch all of the students at all times and interact with them via intercom. The students become uncomfortable, and Ms. Beazly quits her job when Mr. Weatherbee spies on her. Later, Archie tells the gang about George Orwell's novel "1984", and they realize how similar it is to their situation.; Archie invites Dilton over to pick up his copy of "1984". Upon arrival, Mr. Weatherbee tells them the home needs repairs, but the bank won't let him take out a loan. They go to the bank, where they are denied by the bank president because of information in the computer and "computers never make mistakes". Meanwhile, Dilton tinkers with the ATM and causes it to spit out money. The bank president realizes computers can be wrong and gives Mr. Andrews the loan.; Betty and Veronica take Archie's books to the library so he doesn't see the attractive new librarian.; Archie enlists Veronica to aid him in place kicks, but Veronica always pulls the ball away before he kicks it.; Reggie has Archie drive his car Gertrude every night to check for car problems. Then, Reggie spreads a rumor about Archie being with Gertrude every night.; Alec has the girls in town act like they know Wilbur when Laurie is around. Wilbur then gets his revenge on Alec.; Archie takes Betty on a thrifty date. Betty submits the idea to a thrifty idea contest and Archie wins.; Archie's horrible day at school is turned around by a kiss from Veronica.; Archie uses euphemisms to explain to his dad why he was home late from school.; Archie takes Cheryl to the amusement park, but Reggie comes along and shows him up.; While putting up flyers in stores, Archie and Jughead run into a man who tries to use them to clean up his shop.; Archie has a dream that he is on a game show, but he can't carry his money home.; Mr. Lodge tells Veronica about how the government has controlled his factory. Apparently, the Defense Department told him to get ahead of schedule on widget production and to paint the factory pink to cheer up the workers. Then, the Labor Department told him to remove the paint because at above 120 degrees, the paint gives off an odor harmful to lab monkeys. Then, he is told not to wash it off because the chemical could enter the city water supply. Instead, it has to be scraped off by hand and stored in metal drums.; To audition for the school play, Archie and Reggie must act like the other for 2 days.; A talking parrot with a gift for mimicry gets Archie into trouble.; Archie and Jughead try to do a simple task for Mr. Andrews, but it doesn't go as planned.; Archie causes chaos at Veronica's house when he and Jughead start messing with Mr. Lodge's alphorn.; Reggie's dad is thrown in jail by the Pentagon for publishing a article about Mr. Lodge's widget production. Reggie goes to the Riverdale Courthouse and sees Judge Bookum and Miss Jones. Upon request, Judge Bookum looks to see if anything is in Miss Jones's eye. Reggie snaps a picture and threatens to print it if Judge Bookum doesn't release Mr. Mantle. Mr. Mantle is then released.; Wilbur and Slats hold a contest. The first to lose their temper has to pay the dinner bill.; Archie forgets to turn off the TV.; Little Archie and Jughead put a real lobster in their lobster stew.; Archie tries to throw out his paper airplane.; While passing The Bee's control room, the camera system shorts out and is destroyed. Mr. Weatherbee decides to remove the system altogether-and to get Ms. Beazly back.; Archie cleans up his room in record time.; Laurie prepares for Wilbur's visit.; Archie makes Moose hold his punching pose.
