Mr. Weatherbee is upset when someone puts cement in the janitor's mop bucket. He gathers the gang around and says unless one of them confesses, all will stay after school. Archie is ready to confess, but his friends think that if they all snitch on Archie, Mr. Weatherbee will feel sorry for Archie and suspend the punishment.; Archie is so love-sick that he can't sell any raffle tickets for the Student Council. Reggie and Betty convince Veronica to give Archie a pep talk to sell tickets. That works for Archie, but then the rest of the boys are hanging around Veronica instead of selling their tickets.; Mr. Weatherbee is giving an lecture on first aid and has Archie bring down the props he will need, which automatically means Archie and Jughead will run over him with a wheelchair. At the demonstration, the kids drive Mr. Weatherbee to distraction and when he flees the room, Miss Grundy sees the practice casualties and assumes that Weatherbee went berserk.; When Archie hears that the coach is hosting a dance for football team members and their dates, he talks Coach Kleats into letting him on the team for the last game. As luck would have it, Archie has to play the last 30 seconds and has a chance to carry the ball and be a hero.
