The Echo creatures are driven out of Atlas headquarters when Mr. Lao kills the host bodies (which were Atlas' own people). Lao then tells the Agents the origin of the Echo people, and they discover that one of them remains, held captive in the mind of Chang.; The Agents prepare to travel to the world of the Echo people, but another attack separates them from the 3-D Man, which transports them to an alternate Earth where Jimmy Woo and his original 1950s team were the founding members of the Avengers.
