Veronica reluctantly agrees to let Betty bring her five year old cousin along on their beach trip, but fears that Bernadette's presence will interfere with her ability to meet new boys.; While on a fishing trip on the Lodge yacht, Veronica hooks a huge striped bass. When her father decides to put her picture with the fish in the local paper (which he owns), Veronica goes to extremes to insure that Betty doesn't catch a bigger fish and top her.; After using the new riding mower to do the family lawn, Betty graciously volunteers to cut the lawns of several elderly neighbors.
