Anita and Amy are confronted by the imposter.; While on a trans-Pacific flight to Los Angeles to visit Jimmy's parents, Rachel begins to reminisce about Jimmy's first case, which involved a murder on a similar trans-pacific flight.; Conan stows away on a homicide call with Detectives Takagi and Miwako and find the murdered wife of abank manager whose back was recently robbed.; Some string and blood spatters on top of a book shelf point Conan to the killer.; Jimmy, Harley and the Moores are invited to a wedding at a wealthy man's mansion. But before the wedding can take place, a murder occurs.; With Conan missing, Anita begins gathering clues to what's going on in the castle, while the others puzzle out the meaning of the lawn chess pieces and how it leads to the castle treasure.; The team begins to disappear one by one until only Anita and Amy are left. During their search, they find that one of the occupants of the castle is an imposter.; In the flashback to Jimmy's first case, Inspector Meguire reluctantly accepts Jimmy's help in tracking down the murderer. But first they have to find the murder weapon.; Jimmy's reputation as a boy detective is rapidly fizzling, until a key deduction puts him onto the killer's trail.; Inspector Santos's theory on the murder is wrong enough to point Conan in the right direction.
