The girls are relaxing at the beach and gossiping about Jughead (mostly unfavorably) until Betty tells a story about how he spent his last two dollars to buy food for two homeless children.; Midge tells the girls how Jughead stayed up all night cleaning the school to help an injured Mr. Svenson pass an important inspection, so he can't be as lazy as they think.; When the girls compare notes they realize that Jughead has given several of them useful ways to ace their math homework.; The girls agree that even if Jughead is not as bad as they had previously believed, he has no sense of style and dresses worse than anyone they know. However, things change again when fashion designer Coolvin Clean spots Jughead and wants to copy his "individualist" look.
