Death and his cronies crash a party.; Judge Dredd and Judge Anderson take down the Psi-shield.; Sam Slade is complaining about not having a job when Commander Jim Kidd arrives by mail and hires him as a bodyguard.; Sam Slade and Kidd are ambushed on the way to the TV studio.; Sam Slade dresses like the Gran on Kidd's TV show. He suspects Orson Cart, Kidd's understudy, might be behind the attempts on his life. They go home to see Kidd's mom.; Kidd starts ballooning up after eating trifle. Orson Cart is found dead in Kidd's hoverlimo after an attempt on Kidd's life.; Kidd ends up in hospital after another attempt on his life.; An alien attacks Kidd in the hospital. It turns out that the alien is a shapeshifter who had worked on Kidd's TV show.; Kidd's TV family, dressed as doctors, try to kill him.; Judge Anderson comes to help and gets herself and Judge Dredd through Death's psi-shield.
