Donald, a museum janitor, discovers that some "blocks" from Inca ruins are actually square eggs. When the other members of a scientific expedition fall ill, Donald and the nephews press on alone deep into the Andes. There they find a strange race of people who speak with Southern accents and live on the square eggs.; A zombie gives Donald a poisoned doll that was intended for Uncle Scrooge, who looked like Donald when the doll was given to the Zombie some seventy years before. Donald--followed by the nephews and "Bombie the Zombie"--goes to Africa to persuade the witch doctor Foola Zoola to give him the antidote for the poison, which is supposed to shrink its victims to the size of a rat.; Uncle Scrooge, through his lawyer, give both Gladstone and Donald sailing ship, and just a few minutes later they learn that Scrooge has been lost in a storm in the South Seas. Both Donald and Gladstone set sail for the islands where Scrooge was last seen, and along the way, Gladstone has nothing but good luck and Donald has nothing but bad.; The nephews, disappointed in their wish for a golden Christmas tree, are lured into a trap by a witch who plans to use their tears in a magic potion that will destroy all the Christmas trees on earth.; Donald stuffs his head full of obscure facts so that he can win a barrel of money on a radio quiz show, but he must compete with the nephews for prizes.; The nephews are captured by a tricky truant officer who they later discover is Donald in disguise.; Donald is plagued by terrible nightmares and crochets doilies on doctor's orders to relax his thinking nerve--until Daisy hears about it.; Donald guards Pizen Spring Dude Ranch during a horse-stealing scare, and buys the same horses over and over again from the wily thief.; Donald and Gladstone, rival beachcombers, split up the beach to look for a valuable ruby lost by the Maharajah of Backdore.; Donald raises Uncle Scrooge's yacht by stuffing it with ping pong balls.; Donald goes to Thrushwhistle Glen to practice echoes, and the nephews are there to supply them--for ten cents each.; The nephews return from summer camp with a collection of pets who rout both Donald and the Black Mask Burglar.; Donald and the boys receive a telegram from Santa Claus requesting their assistance in testing out toys at the North Pole.; Donald returns the nephews' presents when they fail to do their chores.; Donald tests toys to see how sturdy they are.; Donald acquires some unusual decorations for his Christmas tree.; Donald exercises so that he can fit into his tuxedo again.; Donald helps the nephews to baby-sit by singing a lullaby.; Donald has trouble traversing some freshly waxed floors.; Donald ends the nephews' fighting over the television.
