Mr. Lasch runs a sweatshop for seamstresses. He forces his workers to use dangerously decrepit machinery, and when something breaks, he takes it out of their salaries. Finally, he forces a old woman to the brain-numbing job of sorting out tangles of needles and thread, despite the fact her sewing machine just shattered, breaking her hand. This is just too much, and his employees get their revenge. When a fire breaks out in the shop, Mr. Lasch can't get out. His lips and hands have been sewn together, and his feet have been hobbled.; Morton has an odd hobby: he goes to funerals to admire the pageantry of it all. He only regrets he won't be able to enjoy his own funeral (what with being dead and all). No longer able to contain his enthusiasm, he murders a local man and takes his place in the coffin, ready to jump out before being buried. Too bad the man he murdered requested cremation.; Ernie's boss, Mr. Anderson, rides him hard. And, he standing in the way of Ernie's advancement at the soap factory. So, one night, Ernie murders Anderson and throws the body in the rendering vat, eventually turning Anderson into a few dozen bars of soap. Some years later, a successful Ernie realizes he's late for a date and has no soap for a shower, so he digs out the Anderson soap, which he kept for irony's sake. While in the shower, a series of accidents (slipping, burning, drowning) brings about Ernie's death. Killed by soap. Wow.; Robert is visiting his wife's grave when he meets Irma. Irma is visiting her husband's grave, the husband she murdered. And now, she's met a wealthy widower! She manages to marry Robert, and begins browbeating him constantly, damaging his health. She even forbids him to visit his previous wife's grave. Nevertheless, he struggles his way to the cemetery, where he finally keels over dead on Ethel's grave. Irma is overjoyed at the thought of insurance money, but elation turns to horror when two shambling corpses appear and begin to close in on her. It's their ex-spouses looking for payback.; Their relationship started well. Sandra was a sword-swallower in a circus and Alec had big dreams but no money. Eventually, Sandra's act begins making some money. But Alec now eats all the food he could never afford before and just gets fatter and fatter. To make matters worse, his gluttony is costing them all their money! So, Sandra tells Alec she's going to teach him how to sword-swallow to bring in more money. Alec manages to swallow a whole sword, but Sandra won't tell him how to remove it. She then leaves him there, warning him not to move or even belch, or things could get messy.; A group of terrified villagers are driving their horse-drawn wagon through a raging snowstorm. They are being chased by a pack of hungry wolves, which is slowly gaining on them. Each of the villagers thinks of the people waiting for them in town. Will they make it? Finally, they reach a grim conclusion. The only way to outpace the wolves is to throw somebody off the wagon to lighten the load and feed the wolves. Who will they sacrifice? We see somebody thrown off the wagon, but it's not revealed who it was.; "Red" Buckley has just murdered his employer, Mr. Duval. Duval ran a plantation on the tropical island of Banggai, and he owned an extremely rare black pearl. Red hatched a plan with another employee, the native Kulu, to murder Duval and steal the pearl. As they make their getaway, though, Red finds out that Kulu has waited a very long time to gain a certain treasure for his tribe, as well. Not the pearl, mind you, but a head with red hair. Guess how Red got his nickname. And wouldn't you know it, Kulu has a machete handy!; Three boys are distressed to see that a new kid in the neighborhood isn't allowed to play with them. One night, they see his strict uncle carrying a bottle full of blood into his house. They deduce that the uncle must be a vampire and they hatch a plan to free the new kid from his uncle's clutches. They sneak into the house one day and find the uncle asleep, so they drive a wooden stake through his heart. Upon further investigation, they find a coffin and open it. Inside, the new kid sleeps the sleep of a vampire. Oops.
