Police scientist Barry Allen invents a radio watch which picks up S.O.S. calls from many different countries, in order for him to avert these catastrophies, he must literally race around the world in eighty minutes.; When Iris West disappears whilst on an assignment, The Flash follows her into another dimension. In order for them to return safely he must battle alien beings who grow to the size of giants within the space of one hour.; Escaped criminal Mark Mardon reaches his brother Clyde's house to lie low, however, on entering finds his brother dead. He then uses Clyde's notes on weather control for crime and assumes the identity of The Weather Wizard.; Grodd, the Super-Gorilla has seemingly died in Gorilla City, in reality he has found a way to take over the mind of a human being (William Dawson). As Dawson, he invents a gun which causes The Flash to absorb vast amounts of moisture from the air, bulking him up to 1000 pounds in weight.; Scudder, a small time criminal, discovers he can solidify images from his trick mirrors, he then uses this knowledge to commit crimes as The Mirror Master.; Jay Garrick and The Flash help aging baseball team, The Bobtails, regain their confidence.
