Torch and Toro, now that war against Japan has been declared, must face the murder, crime and sabotage that Moppino, the high priest of the rising sun temple, wishes to perpetrate against the city of New York.; Steve and Bucky are allowed to go and see a magician's act, but when Mysto uses the Colonel of the post in his act, and they BOTH disappear, Captain America and Bucky head to "Sorcerer's Hollow" to track them down. There they rescue the Colonel and are told that the sorcerer is actually a Japanese spy trying to force the Colonel to reveal the defense secrets of America's new air base.; Whizzer gets on the trail of a gang of crooks who turn in false alarms in order to divert the attention of the Police while they rob theatres.; The Navy Department calls in Prince Namor to help clear out the Nazi U-boat menace along America's Atlantic seaboard, and runs into Dr. Sak, who has created an underwater cavern from which the subs can attack at will and not have their place of origin discovered.; The Destroyer hears that a Gestapo agent is going to behead Pastor Muller, who has been defying Hitler, and sets out to save his life.
