Stuck alone over winter break because Archie plans to go skiing with Veronica, Betty agrees to be tour guide for a French exchange student named Jean. But when Archie finds out that Jean is a guy and very handsome, he cancels his trip and follows the two around to "protect" Betty.; Betty finds out that Archie moved their dinner date up so he could meet Veronica later on, so she makes a gastronomic nightmare for his dinner with her.; Archie has someplace to be, but he has to shovel the walk at his home.
