Cheryl decides to go on the reality show the Lonely Hearts Club.; Valerie leaves town before an important gig, claiming that she needs to visit a sick grandmother. Josie, Melody and Alexandra (who replaces Valerie in the band while she's away) don't buy the old "sick grandmother" cliché, and assume that Valerie is making some kind of tragic sacrifice to help the Pussycats.
