Veronica decides that Betty is sad about always being outshone by Veronica, and so dulls her appearance down -- just in time to appear in a TV spot about Betty and her snow sculptures.; Veronica has an attractive new dress, but the school's heating system breaks down. She has to wear her coat all day, so no one sees her dress.; Archie and the girls are picked as extras when teen star Ophelia comes to town, but only Betty is relaxed enough to actually talk with her.; Veronica tries to steal the limelight in a revealing Santa costume. The girls stick her with distributing gifts to children, but finally dress as elves to help her out.; Veronica says she'll take a Christmas tree. Ethel says she'll take Jughead, who's carrying it.; Archie dresses up as Santa Claus, so Betty dresses up as a chimney.
