A random action by Serena triggers the serial assaulter and she becomes his next target. After Conan points him in the right direction, Inspector Meguire races to find her and prevent a repeat of one of the most traumatic days of his life.; The bus containing Conan, Anita and their friends, as well as two of their teachers, is hijacked on the way to a ski lodge by people demanding a jewel robber be freed from police custody. And Anita suspects someone on the bus is a member of the Black Organization.; Using the help of Jodie Saintemillion and the Junior Detective League, Conan manages to foil the hijacking and get the passengers out before the bus blows up.; While visiting a dog breeder, a prized Papillon comes up missing.; Conan solves the disappearance and deduces the real motive for the abduction.; Conan and the Moores are invited by Harley to the opening of a restaurant co-owned by three prominent international sports stars, including Conan's favorite soccer player. But during the ceremonies, a reporter hinting at illicit dealings between the three ends up murdered.; Conan confronts the killer.; Conan suspects that the women being targeted aren't Ganguro girls, but blondes entering or leaving cars. Meanwhile Inspector Meguire's superior worries that the similarities of the case to one he worked on ten years ago may be affecting his judgment.; The hijackers have a confederate on the back of the bus to spy on the passengers. Conan must figure out who it is before the hijackers get their demands and blow up the bus to eliminate witnesses.; Deducing that the missing dog is still in the house, the Junior Detective League tries to use one of the other dogs to sniff out the missing canine.; A mop and an inflating pin lead Conan to a conclusion he doesn't want to face.
