Using Richard as his surrogate, Conan exposes the real murderer. Later, Kaito Kid does some exposing of his own when Conan corners him.; Working together, Conan, Richard, Rachel and Eisuke determine where the musician was killed and who killed him.; A famous artist reveals to the press that The Kaito Kid has threatened to steal his latest work before its unveiling.; Conan gets tipped that Kaito Kid is masquerading as one of the police detectives in order to infiltrate the mansion.; Conan sets out to capture Kaito Kid and at the same time prove that the Kid's involvement with the painting was a ruse to hide the truth.; As an exercise in cooperation and problem-solving, Miss Kobayashi gives her class a mystery to solve.; The class manages to solve the mystery without Conan's help.; At Eisuke's urging, Richard becomes involved in the disappearance of a musician. They find the only witness to the disappearance may be a young boy with unreliable credibility.; While Richard tries to solve a disappearance based on the observations of a child unable to identify landmarks, Conan notes the physical and behavioral similarities between Eisuke and the Black Organization member known as Kir.; Eisuke prods Richard into looking into a strange matter involving garbage collection. The investigation leads to a murdered woman whose son Conan realizes was a witness to the capture of Kir.
