The Cave Kids capture a Spotted-Spotted Plumpasaurus to donate to the zoo, then discover that the extra spots are paint from a man painting acorns yellow. The man locks them in a cave, but they are rescued by Rocky Ranger, a masked hero. The acorn painter is trying to swindle some real estate investors into buying his "lemon orchard". The Cave Kids reveal the truth, then use their reward money to buy a water fountain for the zoo.; Suzy and Sally Quartz think that Rocky Ranger has turned bad because he has tied up his flapposaurus in his cave. He's rescuing people's hats on a windy day, and has the flapposaurus tied up because he can't fly between trees. They apologize and help Rocky clean his cave.; The Cave Kids buy a watchdog to keep the snack rat from eating their food while they sleep. The watchdog knocks a big supply of food down while he is trying to stomp the snack rat. The watchdog snitches some of the food that night.; Gypsy Crystal thinks that her crystal ball isn't working because it's cloudy. She takes it to a TV shop and the Wizard of Oog for repairs and the wizard throws it out. She realizes that it's predicting stormy weather and recovers it. She saves the Cave Kids from a rain-swollen river, then lights up her cave with sunshine from the crystal ball.; Twist on "The Prince and the Pauper". Wally Gator takes the place of Prince Ali Gator and defeats the Royal Wrecker.; A Cave Kid tries to hunt a blappasaurus, but instead muzzles it with his slingshot.; Small Stuff tries to capture a dinosaur, but instead gets chased by the dinosaur with his club caught on his horn.
