In Central Africa, the Challs pursue Killer Starke into the mysterious Red Forest. They corner Starke in a cave. He shoots wild, so Prof lobs a grenade. Starke is missing, until a bubbling pool of strange minerals releases a walking blob-monster, absorbing everything and growing larger. Prof works up a plan, Red calls an Air Force base for parts, and Rocky and locals dig a pit. Ace rides an elephant to lure the Ooze onto a leafy cover and it falls over a pit of whooshing jet engines. Suspended in air, the Ooze shrinks until it's just Starke again and the Challs take Starke back to prison.; The Challengers investigate a suddenly active volcano. They're jumped by Japanese soldiers still fighting World War II. In the volcano is a factory run by Doktor Heller and Colonel Takawa, and Ace and Rocky are captured. Heller has two weapons: a "flying saucer" and gold pellets that vibrate steel to pieces to drop on American cities. Heller forces Ace and Rocky into the saucer, then whips them around. Prof and Red hop in the saucer and pilot it atop the factory chimney, flooding it with smoke. The Challs radio the 7th Fleet to come get the villains.; Moolah goes for a drive and runs out of gas.
