DP is hired by AIM to invade the Savage Land and capture a deadly new toxin for them before it falls into the hands of Hydra. After making a hard landing and encountering Ka-Zar, Pool meets up with his AIM contact, a beautiful blonde doctor, and they try to locate the toxin. Their search leads them to a tribe of cannibals who quickly capture our hero. DP learns that the item he is supposed to be stealing from them looks like a decomposed head--his own.; In order for Killebrew to create a cure for Deadpool's condition, Pool needs to get a sample of blood from the Hulk. The Hulk turns out not to be too fond of this idea and the fight is on. DP is successful, however, and Killebrew injects him with a serum that should restore the merc with a mouth back to a healthy condition.
