Tarzan recaptures an old villain.; Tarzan re-creates the growth formula and gives it to four of Jathon's lions in order to make them capable of defeating the giant boars that are threatening Cathne.; Chief Muviro's grandson, Dombie, has run away from home. Boy, the son of Tarzan, traces the boy to a village led by Chief Kisumu, who in turn is controlled by witch doctor Kururi. They both deny any involvement, but they are secretly holding Dombie, planning to sell him to Muviro's enemies. Kururi tries to scare Boy off with tales of the ghost of Makuru, who haunts the village at night in the form of a lion. But Boy does not scare so easily. The witch doctor attracts a lion with some goat's blood, but Tarzan's tame lion Jad-Bal-Ja chases the wild lion off. Tarzan and his son free Dombie.; Making their way to a small village in the valley selected to be the new home of the Tengulus, the brothers encounter a rhinoceros and a band of gorillas.
