Tarzan and Dr. MacWhirtle, on their way home from the Karfu country, encounter the Ostrich Clan of the Desert Pygmies. While visiting them, Tarzan is taken by Tuareg raiders. Dr. MacWhirtle and the pygmies ride to his rescue.; When Tarzan is hunting with the Gallugos, the Torodons attack and take the Galllugos buffalo. Creeping into the Torodon camp, Tarzan uses a lion hide to frighten the buffalo, causing them to stampede, and allowing the Gallugos to recapture them.; Dan-El and Natongo are taken by slavers.
