A new giant golden eagle, Aiglon, escapes from his perch with Boy on his back. The bird flies to Pal-ul-don. Tarzan and Argus follow. Tarzan finds Boy working with a lost prospector, Chet Harper. In order to get Harper and his gold out of Pal-ul-don, Tarzan first takes him to Cathne. Harper is so impressed with the city that he elects to stay there.; Rescuing a young wouman whose safari has betrayed her, Tarzan and Boy use a group of hippopotamuses to prevent the safari from pursing them.; The brothers are attacked by warriors from Obelo, whom they outwit with camouflage.
