Darleen loses her red-headed boyfriend Rick over the hit song "Mister Redhead." and when the song's singer, Ronnie Redhead, comes to town she tries to get back at him for it. She and Ronnie become friends and he helps her get Rick back.; Overbearing Gale wants to make over her friend Marsha and insists that her boyfriend Ben find dates for Marsha, not realizing that her demanding ways are only going to push Ben and Marsha together.; Elaine, who works as a circus clown, is approached by Doug, who offers her a television job.
