Knodar comes to the 20th century where he believes his talents as a criminal will be appreciated. That evening, Alan Scott, while listening to the radio, is startled to see Green Lantern come crashing through his apartment window---dead!; Green Lantern must face the challenge of a new criminal who steals objects that absolutely worthless!; Green lantern takes Alan Scott's place to award a special sports trophy, when suddenly this prize is snatched from his hands by a criminal calling himself the Sportsmaster.
