Alan Scott is sent to Australia to help install a short-wave radio transmitter, but his ship is torpedoed at sea by Nazi raiders.; The lifeboat containing Alan, Irene, Doiby and other survivors makes its way to safety, but lands in a strange area called Sargasso Island, whose inhabitants are descendants of those ship-wrecked there thousands of years ago.; Hitler decides to use Sargasso Island as a concealed base from which to launch attacks on his enemies, while G.L. attempts to convince the peace-loving inhabitants to fight back against the Nazis.; The Nazi commander captures Green Lantern and dons his ring in an attempt to turn the tide of victory in his favor.
