Gamblers fix roller derby contests by having the favored team lose.; Arthur Duneen, a master of disguise, uses his talents to commit crimes in the city. When the heat is on, he and an accomplice flee to Nevada, but find the police still on their trail. In a calculated move, Duneen assumes the guise of a supposed prospector, and unexpectantly meets his end.; A stockbroker smuggles drugs as a sideline to get money to impress a woman. He gets caught and the woman marries his assistant. The man breaks out of prison and gets revenge on the pair, but is trapped and killed himself.; A mentally-deficient man gets in a street brawl and is jailed. While in jail, a small-time hood uses him to escape and forces him to help him commit robberies.
