Hellboy arrives at Cavendish Hall, to find out more about the Arctic expedition, with two fellow BPRD Agents -- the pyrokinetic Liz Sherman and amphibious humanoid Abe Sapien. The trio interviews the family matriarch, after which Abe investigates underwater, Liz disappears, and Hellboy battles another frog creature before being confronted by Rasputin.; When they hear the explosion, Akiko and Oniko's goons enter the lab to find the O'Brien sisters unconscious. The men are strangely compelled to wrap up the ape head before Ann awakes and rousts the suited figure, who turns out to be a talking gorilla.
