A watch repairman gets a watch from a mysterious stranger and when he fixes it, he finds that he can go backwards and forwards in time by moving the hands. He goes back to the year 1575 in order to steal the French king's jewels, but when he is apprehended by the king's guards, he finds that his watch has disappeared as they were not in existence at the time.; Two detectives with different attitudes toward voodoo track down a blackmailer.
