Despite being wounded, G-2 manages to alert the U.S. military, who sinks the Nazi vessel.; Quicksilver tracks down the murderous duo of Sandor and Zarna at the circus. Although Sandor was guilty of murder, he did it to win Zarna's love. When the Police came to arrest Sandor, Quicksilver pleaded mercy for him, implicating Zarna as the ringmaster. But it was too late, for Sandor had murdered her in a rage.; In Russia, the Unknown adopts an alias as he goes undercover and feigns drunkenness in order to plant mis-information. At the same time, there is a German femme fatale spy, X-19, working undercover among the Russians. After triumphing over her, the Unknown said, "I wish women, especially beautiful women, would keep out of this war mess."; Uncle Sam mentors the Kid Patrol members, encouraging them to perform in order to raise money for war bonds.
