Betsy helps Bob, the boyfriend of her friend Lori, seek treatment when he starts losing his eyesight, but since he wants to keep his condition a secret from Lori, Lori jumps to the conclusion that Bob and Betsy have fallen in love.; Scott and Betsy attend a wedding where she learns that he is in love with Robin, the bride, but waited too long to ask her to marry him. Later, Scott and Betsy go on an overseas assignment to bring medical care to the country of Mussar, and they fall in love, but Betsy won't marry him because she knows he is still in love with Robin, whose new husband has just died.; Joan mistakes a kiss between cousins for something else and decides to break up with Bob.
