Dan Simmons finds a map to a lost gold mine in the heel of his dead brother's boots. He and his son and Rex Allen follow the map to try and find the mine, not knowing they are followed by four claim-jumpers.; Robbers plot to decoy Rex Allen and the Sheriff away from the town of Preston so they can rob a payroll train.; Two bandits force a shopkeeper to take them to his home, where he keeps the store's money, but find a surprise when they get there.
