A housekeeper and her boyfriend murder her employer, an atomic scientist. The boyfriend dumps her now that the scientist is dead. After she receives a series of letters from the dead man, they retrieve his body. She confesses to the police.; Death drives a carriage and picks up those whose time it is to die. He picks up a couple forbidden to be married by her grandfather and feels pity. He kills the grandfather instead and fools the woman into kissing him, but lets the couple live.; A newlywed couple are forced to stop at a hotel. The hotel is inhabited by a woman and her son and daughter. They are all ghosts. The son reenacts the murders of the mother and his sister. The newlyweds barely escape.; An escapee of a prison finds a hermit's home. Convinced that the hermit has a fortune, he kills the hermit and finds gold coins. He buries the coins with the hermit. He returns for it and is caught by the police. The coins are counterfeit.
