Meanwhile, reform school escapee Tom Tanner (a double for Clark Kent) tries to take over Clark's life in Smallville.; Ultra Boy must discover Superboy's secret identity as an initiation test for joining the Legion of Super-Heroes.; Supergirl and Brainiac 5 become the newest members of the Legion of Super-Heroes.; Luthor contacts and teams up with Legion of Super-Villains from 30th Century. An adult Legion of Super-Heroes comes to 20th Century to help Superman.; Three youths with fantastic powers save billionaire R.J. Brande, who bankrolls them in an organization meant to emulate Superboy and Supergirl, the Legion of Super-Heroes.
