After Superboy sets off to retrieve the cure for Ultra Boy's condition, the Legionnaires turn on Lana Lang and prepare to execute her and a rational Ultra Boy. Superboy secretly saves Ultra Boy and Lana Lang from their firing squad, then the three of them destroy the helmet of the alien controlling the other Legionnaires.; The Legion encounters the Hag on the Brande estate. Lightning Lad tries to resist the corrupting influence of Evillo. The Legion call the the Subs into action.; The Legion gather the materials to counter the Hag's spells and reveal her as the White Witch. Sir Prize and Miss Terious reveal themselves as Star Boy and Dream Girl. They then attack Evillo's headquarters.; Superboy and Supergirl resign due to a Kryptonite cloud, and are replaced by Sir Prize and Miss Terious.; The Devil's Dozen commit robberies and kidnap Lighting Lad.; Superboy demonstrates why he cannot compete in high school sports while stopping a band of robbers.
