A race with motorised dinghys is organised for the school children on the cruise, but when the winners, Tommy and Bobby, decide to explore the coast before they take the boat back, Billy and Katie have to spring into action.; Minnie is miserable because she can't find anyone to play with, so plays by herself in the garden, much to her dad's annoyance, although he eventually has a change of heart and finds some things for Minnie to play in the garden with, though not quite what Minnie had in mind.; The kids make several attempts to get the school name into the Muggins Book Of Records.; Roger overhears a queue of people anticipating a talk on dodging that is about to take place, and he tries to dodge his way into it, but just who is giving the talk?; The Three Bears are panning for gold, in order to pay for grub, when they spy Hank's supply mule and plan a raid, but in the end they're forced to start panning again, though not for gold.; Grandpa reminisces about his school days, and shows Sammy some rather destructuve uses for his old school tie, then Grandpa's dad finds another use for it!; Lord Snooty reads a story about a chap who's just found a painting worth thousands of pounds in his cupboard, so he searches the castle for any valuable paintings hidden away in the castle, but the valuable painting he finds, thanks to Aunt Mat, is of a different kind.; Sniffy wants to be a gun-dog, but nobody'll give him a job, until he meets a human cannonball.; Billy visits Granny Whizz and they take a look at the family album.; "Baby-Face" steals a sheep and uses the wool to knit himself something to stop him being such a chilly bandit. He makes a miscalculation but manages to net himself a large supper!; The younger McTickles try to catch some Springy McHaggises, and come up with an idea, for which Murdo advises them to wear improvised crash helmets... just remind them to listen to him next time!; Whiskers' dragon puppet gives His Nibs an idea for taking Porky's cheese.; Little Plum opens a hairdressing shop and takes unlikely inspiration from a near-by ornamental hedge trimmer. When Buffalo Bill comes in, and mentions his painful time chasing buffalo through cactus country, Little Plum has a plan to help him.; Dennis and Curly both believe their dog to be the finer ratter in the district, and set out to prove it.
