Jackson decides to pattern himself after the TV character "The Continental." A liberal application of hair oil, his best suit, and a suave approach make him think he's going to be a Don Juan. However, the girls in town get wind of the change and pretend to fight over him, causing him to go back to his old ways.; Wilbur schemes to get Natch in trouble with Judy's father, Officer Farrell. He moves signs, paints lines, and buys a fake fire hydrant so he can frame Natch into a bundle of traffic offenses.; Katie has her sights on the new boy in school, Cal Mack, and uses a book "Winning Your Man" for advice. She goes undercover to find out his likes and dislikes and gets him to take her to to a "Girls Pay" dance. Unfortunately, rival Dolores finds the book after Katie drops it and tells everyone that Katie has to get her boy friends from a book. Cal figures he's been tricked, so breaks the date. Fortunately, Katie's grandmother is visiting. She just happens to be be friends with the head of a movie studio and gets him to get Katie a date to the dance with Rock Hudson.; Jitterbuck rescues a dog that had tin cans tied to his tail. He takes the dog home, but when Jitterbuck comes home late, it's the dog that gives him away.
