When Tonto agrees to guide a wagon train through the desert, the wagon master tells him that the train is transporting guns and powder for an army post. Two members of the wagon train attempt to trade the weapons to a group of Indians, and it's up to Tonto to stop them.; A jealous brave steals the horse Tonto has given to Chief Stone Bear. Tonto and the chief track the thieves and recover the horse.
