Thor tells some children the tale of his youth when Thor and Loki were challenged by Utgard, Master of Utgartdhall.; Harris Hobbs asks Thor to take him to Asgard to film a special for his TV network. When Thor refuses, Loki agrees and conceals Hobbs and his crew inside a dangerous adamantium computer that Thor is transporting to Asgard for safe keeping.; Odin, Sif and Frigga return to Asgard to discover that Loki has regained his powers. Odin reveals that Ragnarok has been foretold to begin with the death of Balder the Brave. While displaying his invulnerability to Asgardian weapons, Balder is struck down by an enchanted weapon supplied by Loki.; Loki has brought about the beginning of Ragnarok by causing the death of Balder. Odin uses part of his power to keep Balder in a state just above death, to prevent the start of Ragnarok.; Roger "Red" Norvell puts on Thor's belt of strength and his Iron Gloves and becomes a new Thor, as powerful as the old Thor and able to wield Thor's hammer. The new Thor forces Sif to leave with him or he will destroy all of Asgard.; Loki is sentenced to the place of punishment for his role in starting Ragnarok. The new Thor takes Sif to a distant land to be his queen. Hela and her horde of Trolls prepare to storm the rainbow bridge.; All of the prophecies of Ragnarok seem to be coming true. The new Thor is convinced by Sif to join the old Thor to protect Asgard and pays with his life.
