In modern Luxemburg, two farmers pluck an ancient sword out of the soil, thus reviving the bloodthirsty Baron Des Garennes. The baron was a general and vampire, who can only be killed by thrusting his own sword through his heart. Lots of fighting and fencing begin. The baron can be defeated in a duel to the death.; Stone mason Joost creates fearful gargoyles for the decoration of the guild hall in the capitol of Bosnia. Evil spirits inhabit those gargoyles, they kill when being attacked. Joost is ordered to destroy them and dies in the process when the guild hall collapses.; Count Almo loses everything at the casino of Monaco. Clutching at straws, he learns about an evil "secret of the numbers". He wins again, but turns into a werewolf-like beast every other hour.
