An expedition in remote waters finds a missing scientist who has used serums to create giant turtles, one the size of a house, the other the size of an island.; A man escapes from a prison planet only to mistake a native creature on another world for a rocket ship and ends up about to be devoured.; A businessman bigoted against robots tries to make a deal to tap the resources of a planet rich in exploding pools of radioactive oil. The natives refuse to sell their oil, since they are robots and it is too vital to them.; An inventor develops a gas that suspends gravity and tests it out on a various houses before announcing his demands to the government. A stray dog jumps through an open window looking for a handout but the man shouts at it to get out. When it jumps back out the window it knocks over the entire canister of the gas sending the man's house into orbit.
