Red Kryptonite transforms Superman into a giant Kryptonian monster, the Drang.; When the Danvers' son Jan (long believed dead in Korea) returns, Linda shares her secret identity with him and gives him temporary super-powers. She then learns that he is an impostor who wants the real Jan's trust fund, but when he dies saving her from Green Kryptonite she decides not to tell her parents about his ruse.
