An explorer learns of an invasion of four-armed aliens. His nurse tells him his bodyguard is one of the aliens, but he realizes that she is the real alien.; A stranger performs feats of magic, and offers anything that people might want if they sign a contract. He helps a disgruntled clerk steal money and get away, but the clerk is stranded on an island forever.; A boy sees an alien landing, but no one believes him until the spaceship comes back. They didn't realize that a tree on a hill was really an alien being.; A clown who can't have children finds an abandoned baby and takes him in only to discover the seeming infant is an alien spy. He is about to turn the creature in until he overhears the spy give his report to his superiors and requests that he be able to remain a human infant since he loves his adoptive parents.; A dentist in 2030 discovers that his patient is a robot from Mars and calls the police. The Martian robot is stopped, and the dentist is relieved, since he wants nothing to stop the infiltration of Venusian robots like him.; A writer buys a used typewriter that will only type a plea for help and an address, no matter what keys are struck. The writer goes to the address, and finds the typewriter's former owner trapped in a dangerous car accident.; A second-string drummer is envious of another member of the band, and so when he hears about a local gypsy, he goes to see her about improving his playing ability. At first, she refuses to help him because she can tell he is asking out of impure motives, but he threatens her with violence and so she casts her spell. At first, he is happy with his new fame as an excellent drummer, until he realizes...that he can never stop.; A man dying on the operating table finds that time has stopped for everybody but him. He intuits that eventually time will start back up, but he uses the time he has been given to do good deeds for people.
