Betty takes a rare bird to school for her talk on birds. Archie is practicing swimming when the bird escapes and he ends up running through the school in swim trunks, mask, and fins, chasing the bird with a net and causing Mr. Weatherbee to doubt Archie's sanity.; Archie's father is confused when Archie takes up cooking and Betty is the town's best car mechanic.; Mr. Lodge thinks it would be a good idea if Archie hosted a party as a change of pace. Archie agrees without asking his parents and is unsure how they will react.; Veronica is impressed by a Frenchman her father brought home to dinner. Archie decides to take a class in French to impress Veronica, but when he becomes fluent in French, Veronica is now impressed by an Italian from the Rome office.; Mr. Weatherbee doesn't want to go to school.; Sabrina reads a book that's supposed to be scary, but it can't match her normal home life.
