When Archie gets a card from a weight and fortune machine that says he's "fearless, determined, strong-willed and a born leader," he gets conceited. Reggie tries to knock him down a peg by bribing a boy to ask Archie to lead his club on a hike in the forest. The scheme backfires when the boy's hiking club consists of his sister and her girl friends.; While looking for a tire for his car in the city dump, Archie finds a box containing a pearl necklace. Embarrassed to tell Veronica that he picked up the necklace in the dump, Archie has Jughead drop the box in an expensive jewelry store, so he can tell Veronica that he picked it up there. Unfortunately for the plan, the store detective sees them and thinks they are shoplifting.; Veronica sends Archie to pick up a package from René's Beauty Shoppe. When Reggie and Betty see him come out of the shop they razz him and he gets more grief from other students the next day at school.; Reggie gets Jughead in trouble by hiding a rabbit in his desk. Mr. Weatherbee decides to make Reggie "game warden" of the high school to keep students from bringing pets to school and gives him a whistle. Jughead switches the whistle for an ultra-sonic dog whistle, so that when Reggie blows it, a pack of dogs invades the school.; Miss Grundy can't get her students to pay attention in class. Mr. Weatherbee suggests that the only thing that interests teenagers is television, which gives Miss Grundy an idea to solve the problem.; Miss Grundy asks Moose where the capital of the United States is located.; Reggie's new girlfriend is too self-centered.; Reggie hears a rumor that Jughead ordered a mail-order course in body-building.
