Archie and Veronica brag about the trust in their relationship. This is put to the test when Archie asks Lauren to join him at the River Festival. While there, he spies Veronica with a tall, handsome athlete.; When the City Council proposes to raises homeowners' taxes to provide for park funding, Fred gets angry and decides to run for City Council. Opposing him is Hal Cooper, who thinks its a great idea to fund the park with increased taxes. Soon, the 2 men and their families are divided on the tax issue, and everyone is campaigning for their ideas.; Archie and Reggie convince Pop Tate to open the Riverdale Skateboard museum in order to bring in new customers. Unfortunately, Archie's part of the museum makes him look like a klutz, while Reggie's part makes him look like a champion.; Archie gets the drop on Reggie when he asks Veronica on a date to the Sports Banquet. Reggie isn't concerned though, because he knows that Archie will mess up the date somehow, leaving Reggie to go out with Veronica instead.; Reggie pokes fun at Archie's batting skills as Archie helps coach a little league team.
