Archie decides to run a last-minute write-in campaign against Reggie for class president. The school election is the same day as the Riverdale mayoral election. Jughead goes to pick up some campaign posters for Archie, but gets the Mayor's instead. That leads to Archie's posters being plastered all over town and he wins the mayoral election.; Reggie keeps getting dates with Veronica because Archie keeps getting detentions. Archie vows not to get a detention for a whole day. The change almost causes Miss Grundy to have a nervous breakdown.; Veronica has an argument with Archie. When Pop Tate tries to help Archie patch things up, Archie manages to make Mr. Lodge think he and Veronica are going to elope.; The Professor has the students identify the smell of chemicals while blindfolded.; Reggie wrote all his girl friends' phone numbers on the wall around the pay phone at Pop's and is devastated when Pop has the whole shop painted.; Archie and Jughead are putting identifying signs over the school doors. When Jughead drops a small one on Archie's head, Jughead tells him he's lucky. He could have dropped a big sign.; Archie mixes up a solution that includes a shrinking acid. He decides to get rid of it by throwing it out the window, right when Mr. Weatherbee is walking beneath it.; Archie and Veronica go to a seaside restaurant where the fish is guaranteed fresh.; Moose insists on wearing the eyeglasses his favorite uncle left him, even though he can't see a thing.; Veronica's fan is noisy, so Archie oils it. Veronica is not happy with the result.; Miss Grundy takes Archie to Mr. Weatherbee's office, but an offhand remark has Weatherbee fleeing from Miss Grundy.; Archie wants to take his band to practice at Jughead's house as usual, but Jughead's neighbors have other plans.; When Archie starts eyeing the other girls while dancing with Veronica, she uses his necktie to keep his attention focused on her.; Archie's father gets accused on leaving his shaving equipment out, but it was Archie's fault.; Betty uses a playpen as a defense against two brats she is baby-sitting.; Jughead's parents threaten to throw him out of the house if he keeps on overeating.; Pat's father sends him to buy a pair of shoelaces and an ice cream cone.; Pat brings home a pair of rabbits to keep as pets. When his parents say no, he trades them for three kittens.
