It's the second race between Betty Cooper --aided by the Lodge pit crew-- and the arrogant Dale Jonas. Nancy and Veronica join the Lodge's pit crew as well.; Dilton tries out for the football team but doesn't do very well. Darlene then convinces him to be the school's mascot. There, he inspires the cheerleaders to do their best work which then inspires the Riverdale football team to do their best against an unbeatable foe: Central High.; Nancy models for both Chuck and Ethel, but finds she isn't able to please either of them. Chuck wants her to sit still when she has an annoying itch, while Ethel wants her to keep moving after she's had a tiring day.; Archie and his dad start a junk removal service, but they themselves keep a lot of the stuff they find.
