The Pussycats reluctantly agree to rehearse in an old house that has a reputation for being haunted. They encounter spooky noises, falling objects, and finally, an axe-wielding maniac.; When the Chamber of Commerce sponsors a boy-girl treasure hunt, Jughead teams up with the girl who's guaranteed to win the contest: Cricket O'Dell, the girl who can smell money. But when the head of the contest declares Cricket's powers "not legal," she and Jughead have to enter the contest with a ribbon tied around her nose.; After Archie asks for an allowance increase, Fred agrees to tag along with him for a week to see how much more expensive dating is than when he was Archie's age.; Reggie and Archie watch as Veronica is kidnapped, and Reggie becomes Evilheart. But Archie can't become Pureheart. Only then does the real Veronica show up, the other girl only looked like Veronica. As Evilheart races back, he loses control of his motorcycle thanks to an icy strip of road. Archie then becomes Pureheart and the two heroes duke it out while the Ice Cube kidnaps the real Veronica.; The girls help Ambrose impress the Good Ol' Gang by making it look like he has a real ray gun that can destroy anything.; Betty's big sister Polly gets a date with Gary Grover, "the most popular boy in the whole junior class." To go on the date, she has to break her promise to make a dress for Betty's doll.; A rabbit tells his son the story of a group of humans who discovered the truth about rabbit's feet: they're not lucky.; A stranger comes to Riverdale, but Archie and the gang refuse to let him introduce himself, as doing so would invalidate the story title.; Archie has to study a family tree for school.
